Delivered with a touch of French class and a glimmer of Toulouse charisma, 23-year-old Martin Sayker is committed in turning progressive music into a mansion filled house of enchantments. His collaborations with newcomers Mad Arm, Wexon, Kid Olson, Oxford and Tom Floyd seem to open up a doorway of fantastic melody, plus a driving intensity which keeps the dancefloor moving till 7am.
Putting key emphasis on the kick drum and the over-buoyant choice of melodies, Martin Sayker’s own sole touch on ‘Olsen Rules,’ ‘Seventy Kids,’ ‘Midnight’ and ‘Space Mansion’ gives hope to a worldwide library that’s over cumbered with autotune madness and certain studio producers who value their bank balance over artistic integrity. ‘Titanium’ from Guetta gets ripped to shreds by Kid Olson & Martin Sayker giving it a whole new unique twist, whilst Jules Gaardls’ ‘Café Clope’ gets given a Mau5trap-like shine that seems to never end.
It’s a sentence which gets overly used.. but Martin Sayker (and co) are definitely ones to watch for the future.
